Brite Hosts Energy Summit Oct. 14, Lordstown Motors to Give Keynote
WARREN, Ohio – Brite Energy Innovators and Columbus-based 614Startups will host the Ohio Next Energy Summit Oct. 14.
The free virtual event, which runs from 2 to 4 p.m., will showcase startups and corporations in the energy technology field.
Officials from Lordstown Motors Corp. will give the keynote address, discussing the technology used in the Endurance pickup truck. The startup automaker will also talk about how its product differs from electric-powered vehicles already on the market and the importance of the energy sector.
Following the keynote, four startups – Brilliency, Hyperion Motors, Li-ion Tamer and Nodis Smart Glass – will show off their technologies and discuss how its given them a positive growth outlook. Brilliency, Hyperion and Li-ion Tamer are portfolio companies at the energy-startup incubator in downtown Warren.
Afterward, Techstars Launchpad director Courtney Gras will lead a panel discussion on commercializing new technologies featuring industry experts from utilities, corporations and investors.
