Buhl Regional Health Foundation to Accept Applications for Grants
SHARON, Pa. – Buhl Regional Health Foundation’s spring grant cycle will begin Nov. 29. Applicants that meet eligibility requirements must submit a letter of inquiry by Dec. 17 via Buhl Regional Health Foundation’s online grant application at www.buhlregionalhealthfoundation.org/grant-portal/.
The focus of the fall 2021 grant cycle is on decreasing obesity, increasing men’s and women’s health, and cancer-related initiatives. Grant applications for programs that impact these focus areas will be given priority. The foundation encourages collaborative partnerships and programs that invest in all people.
The mission of the foundation is to identify and address the diverse health care needs of the greater Sharon area. All interested 501(c)(3) agencies and public charities with the appropriate IRS designation that share in this mission within the service area are invited to apply. The primary service area includes Clark, Farrell, Greenville, Mercer, Hermitage, Sharon, Sharpsville, Transfer, West Middlesex and Wheatland in Pennsylvania and Brookfield, Hubbard, and Masury in Ohio.
The secondary service area consists of parts of eastern Ohio, northern and eastern Mercer County, and northern Lawrence County. Details about service areas and eligibility guidelines are listed on the BRHF website.
Applications must be submitted through the Buhl Regional Health Foundation Online Grant Portal. No other application methods or formats will be accepted.
