Burgan Real Estate Expands into Western Pennsylvania

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Patrick Burgan and Sue Filipovich of Burgan Real Estate have announced the acquisition of their Pennsylvania real estate license. The 45-year-old official brokerage of YSU Athletics has further plans to expand its Build a Better Burgan program across state lines, according to a release.

Burgan, co-owner and broker, says the vision to expand has been present since 2017, after Filipovich joined the team.

“Acquiring our Pennsylvania real estate license not only demonstrates the demand there is across the border coming from people who wish to work with our experienced and expert agents, but it also shows how doing business with integrity and transparency has a place in this world,” he says. “We are looking forward to seeing how life in Pennsylvania will be better with Burgan as we extend our footprint locally in Western Pennsylvania and across the entire state.”

Burgan Real Estate sees Pennsylvania as the right decision for the next step in company growth, says Burgan. The company says it plans to offer the same investment to Pennsylvania markets as it did in the Mahoning Valley; this includes a branch office, agents and community activation.

Filipovich, co-owner and second-generation broker, says this is not only a growth opportunity but also an opportunity to help grow the communities.

“By obtaining this license, we fully intend to aggressively form a team of agents in Western Pennsylvania that not only have a home office they can go to and buy in to the values and principles that not only make us so unique, but creates the highest performing and successful real estate agents in the area,” she says.
