Burgan Reports Best Q1 Home Sales in 40 Years
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Burgan Real Estate has posted its best first quarter of home sales in its 40-year history, the agency reports.
For the three months ending March 31, Burgan saw a 15% increase in units sold and a 28% increase in total volume as compared to 2017. This marks the company’s fifth consecutive quarter of growth since second-generation owners, Patrick Burgan and Sue Filipovich, took over operations.
“Patrick and I have always believed the potential to grow was there for Burgan Real Estate,” says Filipovich, co-owner and broker. “The growth is the result of the amazing agents as well as a strategic plan we put into place almost a year ago in cooperation with Jeff Ryznar and our partnership with 898 Marketing.”
While the first-quarter sales performance was a personal record for Burgan Real Estate, the company’s market share grew to 12.2%. This makes Burgan the third largest real estate company by volume in Mahoning County, based on industry reports for the period ending March 31.
In addition to its sales performance, Burgan has enhanced its relationship with Youngstown State University as the official real estate agency of YSU athletics, and paid a fan’s mortgage in the “Better with Burgan Mortgage Mania Challenge.” The agency has conducted continuing education seminars for agents by bringing in nationally acclaimed motivational and sales experts, and grown its agent base by almost 20%.
