Butech Installs 50-Foot Stretch Leveling Line at Feralloy Plant

SALEM, Ohio – Butech Bliss has recently completed the design, building and installation of a new stretch leveling line for Feralloy at the company’s new site in Ghent, Ky.

The patented Butech leveler is a 50-foot bed that can produce up to 1,900 tons of stretching force. It can process materials up to one inch thick and 76 inches wide.

The line will be fully operational by the end of the year. The stretch leveling line includes material handling, entry and exit equipment, a Synergy hydraulic roller level, a closed loop system to compensate for machine deflection and a quick change roll cartridge system.

The cut-to-length line will be used by Feralloy for its process hot rolled, pickled, oiled and coated producets.

Feralloy is an international steel processing company. It’s new site in Ghent is set to open later this year.
