BWC Manager to Address Salem Chamber July 27
SALEM, Ohio — Mark Clendenin, regional business development manager-northeast for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, will present a seminar on “Destination: Excellence” here at 11:45 a.m. July 27.
The BWC program rewards employers who keep their workplaces safe and who return injured workers back to work sooner.
Compatible with existing rating programs, Destination: Excellence is a cafeteria-style plan that lets employers choose among various options.
The seminar is part of the Salem Business Connection luncheon program sponsored by the Salem Area Chamber. The luncheon will be held in the Salem Community Center. Companies that send a representative can receive a safety training credit through the BWC Safety Council Rebate Program.
Cost is $20 for chamber members and $25 for guests. Reservations are required by July 25. Call 330 337 3473.
