Ohio BWC Names Myers Chief Actuary
COLUMBUS — On Jan. 1, Dan Myers will be taking over the position of chief actuary of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
Myers currently serves as director of actuarial analysis, a role he has held since 2017. He has also been in the interim chief actuarial officer role since his predecessor left in March.
In this role, Myers will lead actuarial staff in all functions, rate-making, enterprise risk management, and actuarial research.
He will also be responsible for creating reports of actuarial analyses and present his recommendations to the BWC Board of Directors, BWC leadership and stakeholders.
