Canfield Connector Introduces New Product

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Canfield Connector, the operating division of Canfield Industries Inc. has introduced a new valve connector, the Series 5K DIN, to upgrade two of its product lines, the company announced Thursday.

The 5K is compatible with multiple control connector receptacle, or MCCR, and interposed lighted wafer. Both are used in the hydraulic valve industry.

The new valve connector features one wire rather than the traditional two, said vice president Todd Harmon in a release, reducing moisture intrusion and labor costs. In addition, the 5K “can be manufactured in a range of plastic housing materials for compatibility with high temperature and various chemical applications.”

“The MCCR device is becoming a more popular item for us, and the new 5K product really enhances our MCCR line. We gain added benefits from being able to use this molded connector with our ILW module,” Harmon continued.

The 5K valve connector has IP67 and NEMA 6 rating protection from dust and water.

Canfield Connector was founded 35 years ago. The company specializes in interconnection devices, electronic timers, proximity sensors, modules and specialty electronic devices.
