Canfield Fair Rooster Statues on the Auction Block
CANFIELD, Ohio – The rooster statues that the Canfield Fair commissioned to commemorate its 175th anniversary will be auctioned Aug. 10 at the Youngstown Foundation Event Center at the fairgrounds.
The 21 statues of the fair’s rooster mascot, each 6 feet tall, were sponsored by local businesses and painted by local artists. They were displayed at the fair last year.
The auction is currently open and will conclude with a simulcast auction on Aug. 10 that will be in person and online, hosted by George Roman Auctioneers.
