Canfield Fair, Youngstown Clothing Partner on Merchandise
CANFIELD, Ohio – Youngstown Clothing Co. has been named the official souvenir provider of the 2019 Canfield Fair, with proceeds from sales supporting the Mahoning County Agricultural Society.
The company, founded in 2015, will sell T-shirts and other apparel emblazoned with Canfield Fair designs at Youngstown Clothing’s booth at the fair, as well as online at YoungstownClothingCo.com and CanfieldFair.com after the fair closes.
“The Canfield Fair is a huge part of our community,” said Matt McClure, founder of the Youngstown Clothing Co., in a statement. “This is the 173rd year of the fair. There aren’t many other things in our community with more history than this. We are extremely excited about this opportunity and plan to produce some awesome designs that pay tribute to the big fair.”
This year’s fair will be held Aug. 28 through Sept. 2. The Canfield Fair Foundation is in the middle of a five-year, $4.5 million capital campaign to raise money to build a new year-round expo center at the fairgrounds, as well as additional livestock buildings.
“Our fair is about community and we are thrilled to have a trusted partner like Youngstown Clothing Co. to help us spread our message about the rich history of this beloved tradition,” said board member Tony Parks. “This is a big year for us. We’ve got a capital campaign that is making progress, but we could use some help to meet our goals and this partnership will help immensely.”
