Canfield Marriott Earns Quintet of Awards

CANFIELD, Ohio – Courtyard by Marriott Youngstown-Canfield received five honors in the 2017 Marriott Select Brand Awards for its financial performance, guest satisfaction and quality assurance results.

Marriott International presented the hotel in Canfield, owned by CTW Development Corp. and managed by Radius Hospitality, with the Platinum Circle Award, the Intent to Recommend Award, the Overall Satisfaction Award, the Room Cleanliness Award and the Staff Service Award. Awards for each category are given to hotels in the top 5% of Courtyard by Marriott hotels in the country.

“It is thanks to the hardworking Courtyard Canfield team that the hotel continues to be recognized for its commitment to customer service,” said Chuck Whitman, CTW owner and president, in a release. “We strive to provide an unprecedented and welcoming experience, and I am proud of our employees for their commitment to providing just that.”

Last year, the hotel was presented with three awards: the Marriott Platinum Award, as well as honors for cleanliness and food quality. Courtyard by Marriott Youngstown-Canfield, 4173 Westford Place, opened in 2015.
