CareerLink Lawrence County to Host Hiring Events

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – PA CareerLink Lawrence County, located in the Central Building, 101 S. Mercer St., Suite 101, will host several employer hiring events in April.  

Hiring representatives from companies will conduct open interviews, answer questions and assist job seekers with applying for open positions at their companies.

“We are excited to once again provide multiple opportunities for our local businesses and job seekers to find their career match,” said Colleen Chamberlain, site administrator for PA CareerLink Lawrence County.

The hiring event dates are:

  • April 2, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Flowline, division of EZFlow.
  • April 17, 3 to 4 p.m., information session by the PA Cybersecurity Center.

A Job Fair Kick-Off Event will be held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral, 110 E. Lincoln Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 18, with more than 50 employers and training providers attending.

No appointments are necessary to meet with the hiring representatives, and job seekers are asked to dress for an interview and bring an updated resume. CareerLink staff will be available to assist job seekers with writing, updating and/or printing their resume, job searching and improving their interviewing skills. 

Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request for individuals with disabilities.
