CCCTC to Host Annual Sophomore Showcase Night

LISBON, Ohio – The Columbiana County Career & Technical Center will host its annual Sophomore Showcase Night at 6 p.m. Thursday. 

Current sophomores in Columbiana County and their parents/guardians are invited to the event, which will feature information and tours of the high school programs at the CCCTC.

Guests will see displays of the career and technical programs and academics, meet lab and academic instructors and visit labs and classrooms. Students will also be able to sign up for the 2024-25 school year.

The event will include light refreshments and a drawing to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards, as well as other door prizes. Drawings will take place at 7:45 p.m. 

CCCTC currently offers the following career pathways: auto collision repair, automotive technology, construction technology, cosmetology, criminal justice, culinary careers, health academy, information technology, interactive multimedia, landscape and environmental design, lodging services, precision machining and manufacturing, veterinary science technology and welding. 

The school also offers all of the core academic areas in English, math, science and social studies.
