‘3 Minutes With:’ CCCTC Will Focus on Social Distancing in the Fall
Jeremy Corbisello, assistant superintendent at CCCTC, speculates on what classes could be like in the fall for the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center.
A big part of a career and technical center student’s education is hands-on learning. CCCTC is making plans for returning seniors and incoming juniors next fall, Corbisello said, with social distancing as the primary goal.
“Of course, you would have on-going sanitizing practices and thorough cleaning,” said Corbisello.
With about four hundred students expected to be in the building in the upcoming school year, Corbisello says it is a possibility they could be split into two groups to allow for proper social distancing. Half of the students would attend classes on Monday and Tuesday and the other half on Thursday and Friday. Sanitization of the entire building would take place on Wednesday.
