Celebrate Free Comic Book Day on May 7
WARREN, Ohio — All-American Cards & Comics in downtown Warren and Boardman will participate in the annual Free Comic Book Day event on Saturday, May 7.
The stores will join with comic book shops nationwide in giving away books specially made for this day by all of the major publishers.
“They always try to do a very nice job of different genres for the people that come in,” says Greg Bartholomew, owner of All-American Cards & Comics.
“Not everything is a super hero comic anymore. You have the cartoon-based things, anime-based, science fiction-based, fantasy-based comic books for kids and adults to come in and enjoy,” he says.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests are invited to to browse and pick up free comics while supplies last.
