Regional Chamber Completes Move to City Centre One

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber has completed its main office relocation to City Centre One downtown.

“The new space will accommodate our team and organization now and as we grow into the future,” said Tom Humphries, the chamber’s president and CEO, in a statement, “especially as all our staff will be housed on one floor, rather than two.”

The move will mean lower operating costs for the Regional Chamber, he added. The new office, Suite 500 in City Centre One, has greater storage capacity, a conference room and free visitor parking. An open house will be hosted in late summer or early fall, with invitations sent out closer to the event.

Previously, the chamber had its primary office on the 15th and 16th floors of First National Tower, a space it occupied since 2003. Before that, its headquarters was in the Stambaugh Building, now the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.

The chamber also has an office at 197 W. Market St. in downtown Warren, which will remain open.

City Centre One is owned by Ohio One Corp., which operates several downtown buildings.

In November, First National Tower was purchased by Big Blue Properties LLC, based in Henderson, Nev., for $1.14.

In February, the new owners said they planned on investing $1.2 million in upgrades, including repairs to the building’s exterior and roof, followed by replacing lobby doors. At the time, the building was 52% occupied.
