Chamber Program Helps Businesses EMERGE
The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is committed to providing the business community with resources needed to EMERGE and recover from the coronavirus crisis. The chamber has created a COVID-19 resources page to keep businesses informed, especially as new information is released daily.
In this edition of “It Starts Here,” Kim Calvert, vice president of marketing & member services at the Chamber, explains the wide range of resources provided through the EMERGE initiative.
According to Guy Coviello, president of the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber Foundation, the most commonly asked questions involve SBA loan information, from finding lenders, to making sure requirements are met and navigating the application process.
Chamber members along with other experts are prepared to assist businesses on topics ranging from SBA loans and tax information, to laws governing unemployment and interpreting state and national orders.
“The chamber was a big benefit for us, especially with a local feel as far as how to respond and react to businesses and their needs especially through the COVID-19 issue,” says Dan Aluise, sales manager at SenSource Inc.
