Change Makers | Farmers National Bank
In its 132 years as a community bank, Farmers National Bank has worked to positively impact generations of families, says President Kevin Helmick.
Whether helping businesses with capital to expand or taking an active role in area organizations such as United Way, Akron Children’s Hospital or Beatitude House, “the community’s everything for us,” he says.
“We know that without the support of businesses in our communities, we just can’t grow and thrive together,” Helmick says. “Whether it’s the underserved or children and families, as United Way’s mission is of course, we’re very passionate about that.”
From Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties where Farmers National Bank has served for more than a century, to new service areas in Stark, Summit, Wayne and Medina counties, Farmers provides “executive leadership and our resources to our communities,” he says.
