Change Management Projects Lift Pecchia

CANFIELD, Ohio – Steady growth with local organizations and change management projects with two large corporations drove a big year for Pecchia Communications in 2023.

The Canfield firm completed an internal communications project last year with Spectrum Brands, a Fortune 500 company that owns Remington, Black & Decker, Rayovac, Pfister, George Foreman and other brands worldwide.

Pecchia also has been supporting a larger engagement at Nutrien Inc., a producer of fertilizer, seed and crop inputs and services, and operator of 2,000-plus Nutrien Ag Solutions stores throughout the Americas and Australia.

“As more companies upgrade their technology in ways that affect large parts of their workforces, demand is growing for communications providers who are experienced in engaging employees around major changes,” says Dan Pecchia, president of the agency.

Gross income at Pecchia Communications rose 12% last year, marking an eighth straight year of growth, he notes.

Sunbelt Solomon, an electrical transformer specialist with a plant in Sharon, Pa., and sister plants across the United States, has become one of the agency’s largest clients, as has Ohio Living, operator of the Lake Vista senior community in Cortland and 10 others.

Pecchia enjoys ongoing work with its two longest-running clients: the Harrington, Hoppe & Mitchell law firm and Aim Transportations Solutions. Other clients include A. Stucki Co., Youngstown Foundation, Mahoning County Land Bank, Mahoning County Soil & Water Conservation District, and MyPath Mahoning Valley.

New clients added last year include QuickMed Urgent Care, Wayne Savings Bank and Roemer Industries.
