Chemical Named Title Sponsor of Run Y-Town

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Marathon Foundation announced a title sponsor partnership with Chemical Bank for the Run Y-Town 10- and five-mile road race held on April 22 at Second Sole in Boardman.

Chemical Bank joins Second Sole as a presenting partner.

“We are excited to play a key role in the 2018 Run Y-Town Race, another local race that will challenge and push people to reach new achievements in their lives,” said Michael Schrock, regional president of the Mahoning Valley.  “Events like this enrich our community, bring people together and allow us the opportunity to give back to local non-profit organizations that are vital to the area.”

Run Y-Town has taken place since 2012 and is now the official training run of the Youngstown Marathon set for June 3 this year.

Runners will tour parts of the full and half marathon courses that travel through Mill Creek Park and will receive a custom designed medal, T-shirt, and complimentary services before and after the race.

All proceeds will benefit the Youngstown Marathon Foundation and its 2018 charitable beneficiaries, United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley and Youngstown CityScape.
