Choffin Preps Adult Students for Success
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Adult students in the practical nursing, surgical tech and dental assistant programs at Choffin Career & Technical Center met potential employers Tuesday.
It was part of the school’s adult education career day, which hosted more than 16 representatives from hospitals and health care facilities from Ohio and Pennsylvania.
“These are in-demand jobs,” says Dr. Sherry Cross, director of adult education programs at Choffin Career & Technical Center. “Every one of our students will have a job offer before the end of the year, and if they don’t have a job, it’s because they don’t want it.”
