Christopher Cross Will Return to Robins Theatre

WARREN, Ohio – Christopher Cross will return to the Robins Theatre on June 27 for an 8 p.m. concert.

Tickets range from $40 to $60 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, at robinstheatre.com and the box office, 160 E. Market St. A presale for members of Friends of the Robins Theatre will start at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Cross played the Robins Theatre in 2021 and 2022.

He arrived on the music scene with a bang in 1980, releasing a self-titled debut album that won five Grammy Awards. It became the first album to win the “Big Four” of the most prestigious awards: Record of the Year (for the single “Sailing”), Album of the Year, Song of the Year (also “Sailing”) and Best New Artist.

In a career spanning more than four decades, Cross has garnered five Grammys, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination and five Top 10 singles.

His list of hits also includes “Arthur’s Theme,” for the movie “Arthur,” which won an Academy Award for Best Song. The song was co-written with Burt Bacharach.

His 1983 album “Another Page” produced the singles “All Right” and “Think of Laura,” and his  song “Swept Away,” composed for the hit television series “Growing Pains,” was nominated for an Emmy.
