Christopher’s at the End of the Tunnel Closing Dec. 28

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Christopher’s at the End of the Tunnel owners Shawna and Christopher Bonacci will close the restaurant’s doors Dec. 28 to focus on their food truck and catering business.

“With no room to expand, the new food truck addition and our growing catering business, we have simply outgrown our little spot. We had a wonderful five years and have made friends that will last a lifetime,” they posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “Christopher’s was truly a joy to operate. We have, we believe, the best group of regular customers that downtown has to offer.

Replacing the restaurant will be the Chef Christopher’s Food Cruiser food truck. Until closing, the restaurant will be open 5 to 9:30 p.m.

“We love you all and thank you for the endless amount of support over the years. We are sad to say goodbye to this gem of an establishment, but we are excited for future endeavors that lie ahead,” the post continued.

On the restaurant’s final day, a closing bash will begin at 6 p.m., the Bonaccis said, and “all booze must go.”
