CIRV Annual Gift-Giving Convoy Rolls Today

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Community Initiative to Reduce Violence and the City of Youngstown are rolling out the Annual Gift Giving Campaign convoy this morning from the Covelli Centre parking lot.

Youngstown Mayor Jamael Tito Brown takes on the role of Santa Claus and will be joined by Youngstown Fire Department Chief Barry Finley as the convoy gathers at 9 a.m. and rolls out at 9:45. The crew will visit each side of the city, delivering gifts of donated toys, gift cards, clothes and other items.

Organizations and community partners who donated gifts, include CIRV, city employees, Loud 102.3, Susie E. Barnes Foundation, Mahoning County Mental Health Board, The Business Journal, Youngstown Police Department, Youngstown Fire Department, and the Youngstown Parks and Recreation Department.
