Climate Action Summit Speaker Looks at Transportation Sector
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Beth Osborne, director of Transportation for America, spoke at the Climate Action Summit Tuesday to address the transportation sector and opportunities to invest in non-car options for transportation.
“If we start using the technology we hold in our smartphones, in our transportation system, we can get a much richer understanding of how the transportation system is working and how it’s connecting people to the things they need,” says Osborne. “And then we will have dozens of solutions at our fingertips to solve the problem, not just investing in speeding up vehicles along one corridor.”
