Coates Car Care Cares for the Community

As a Youngstown State University football fan, Jim Coates of Coates Car Care decided to support the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley after meeting with some of the children the organization supports during a tailgate party.

During an interview with Roxann Sebest, director of marketing and communications for United Way, Coates said, “We just try to give back and support businesses that support us, so I think that’s the biggest part of being local.”

The Change Makers series spotlights the partners, organizations and businesses that have supported the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley over the past 100 years. The series is sponsored by the United Way.
