Columbiana Looks to Youths for Improvements
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – Columbiana High School students in the creative entrepreneurship class are imagining a Columbiana they will be proud to be part of in the future.
Students were tasked with improving the Columbiana Plaza, which is tucked in off of South Main Street and is home to several small businesses.
“The quality of work they’re dong is consulting grade,” says Lance Willard, city manager of Columbiana.
“The kids, honestly, you just give them what you want them to work on and they go with it,” says Tricia Missos, business and technology teacher at Columbiana High School.
