CCPA OKs $72K Bid to Repair Industrial Park Roof
EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio — The Columbiana County Port Authority met in special session Friday to approve a bid of $72,000 from Eichler Construction in Salem for a roof repair at Leetonia Industrial Park, 600 Cherry Fork Ave. in Leetonia.
The repair of the 16,000-square foot roof is part of the port authority’s “strategic maintenance plan,” says Penny Traina, CEO. “We put together a list of the most important projects to the least important and this was at the top.”
The building at the industrial park houses Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America and H K Technologies. Traina says she expects the roof repair to only take a couple of weeks to be completed.
The roof repair will include the following:
- Chemical resistant roof
- UL-790 Class “A” fire rating
- White 84% reflective energy efficient cool roof system
- 50-millimeter scrim fabric reinforced membrane
- 15-year factory no-dollar-limit transferable warranty.
