Community Health Fair Set for Saturday at Eastwood Mall
NILES, Ohio – The public is invited to the Spring into Wellness community health fair Saturday at Eastwood Mall.
The free health fair, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Center Court, will provide free health screenings such as blood pressure, blood oxygen level and Body Mass Index, as well as stroke and fall risk assessments.
“The health fair will offer a number of free health screenings, fitness and wellness education and other services to help you learn more about your physical health,” said Frank Migliozzi, health commissioner for the Trumbull County Combined Health District.
The event is supported by the Trumbull County Combined Health District, the Warren City Health Department and collaborators from Live Well Trumbull, which is a community-wide platform that offers access to education, resources and opportunities for Trumbull County residents and workers to actively participate in managing their health and wellness.
“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not only the absence of disease or sickness,” said John May, health commissioner for the Warren City Health Department. “The Spring into Wellness Community Health Fair being offered by a host of partnering agencies will provide tools and resources essential for making healthier life choices.”
