Construction Begins for Stonebridge Grille in Howland

HOWLAND, Ohio – Site preparation is underway at 1415 Niles-Cortland Road for construction of Stonebridge Grille and Tavern’s second restaurant in the Mahoning Valley. The new restaurant, on state Route 46 in the Eastwood Mall area, is expected to open in the fall.

Stonebridge Grill is locally owned by partners Bob Stevens and Ron Zenko.

“We have many customers from Niles, Howland and Liberty, and our new restaurant is a natural progression to accommodate diners from those areas,” said Zenko in a statement.

Construction plans show the new Stonebridge Grille & Tavern will be over 7,000 square feet. It will seat 225 in the lounge and dining room with an additional 30 seats at the horseshoe style bar. A patio will seat 75 and a banquet room up to 50.

Zenko said he expects to hire between 75 and 100 people for front and back of the house positions.

The menu will offer Stonebridge’s signature American cuisine along with an extensive wine list, full bar, craft beer and cocktails. Like the Boardman location, Stonebridge Grille and Tavern in Howland will be open seven days a week.
