Coronavirus Case Update: March 30, 2020

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – As of 2 p.m. March 30, Ohio reports 1,933 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and Pennsylvania 4,087.
According to the Ohio Department of Health, Mahoning County reports 117 total cases with 53 hospitalizations and four deaths. Columbiana County reports 11 total cases with eight hospitalizations and two deaths.
The Trumbull County Combined Health District reported later Monday that the county has 46 cases with 29 hospitalizations and three deaths.
Of all 1,933 cases in Ohio, 475 have resulted in hospitalizations, 163 of which are in the intensive care unit. The department of health reports 39 deaths thus far in 19 counties. The median age of those testing positive is 53. Of the positive diagnoses, 345 or 18% are health care workers.
To date, Ohio has tested 27,275 individuals.
In Pennsylvania, Mercer County reports seven total cases and no deaths. There are 11 confirmed cases in Lawrence County with one death. To date, the commonwealth reports 33,777 negative COVID-19 tests. Of the total positive tests, there have been 386 hospitalizations since March 6 and 49 deaths.
