CORTLAND, Ohio – A service station and convenience market at 650 High St. has a new owner.
The Valley View food market and gas station was sold to 650 High D and S LLC for $1.7 million, according to records filed with the Trumbull County Auditor’s office Dec. 29.
The purchasing entity was created Dec. 14, according to the Ohio Secretary of State’s office, and lists a Mill Valley, Calif., mailing address on the auditor’s website.
According to the auditor, the building and land is appraised at $230,000 for tax purposes.
The property’s most recent monetary transaction shows that Tires Outlet Places LLC purchased the building and land for $50,000 in April 2017. It was then transferred to Abe Sammi LLC in September 2017 and then to another entity, Mex 650 S High LLC, in June 2022. Data provided by the auditor’s office show the building was first constructed in 1963 but underwent renovations in 2017.
