Country Legend Tim McGraw to Headline Y-Live Concert

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Country music superstar Tim McGraw will headline this year’s Y-Live concert Aug. 2 in Wean Park.

The opening act will be Warren Zeiders, according to JAC Live, promoter of the concert. More opening acts will be announced in the near future.

“Tim McGraw is so many things, from a movie star to an iconic music artist who spans decades and genres,” said Ken Bigley, chief operational officer of JAC Live and JAC Management Group, which manages Wean Park, Covelli Centre and the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre.

“He has fans of every age and is known for his amazing live performances,” Bigley continued. “Collectively, those are the qualities we look for in an artist when booking Y-Live.”

This will be JAC’s third year using Wean Park as the site for its largest show of the year. The concert typically draws around 20,000 spectators.

“Anyone who joined us these last two years saw how perfectly the space is transformed into a state-of-the-art concert setup,” said Jordan Ryan, executive director of Wean Park.

Kid Rock headlined the Y-Live concert in 2023, and Luke Bryan performed in 2022.

Tickets for the McGraw concert start at $65.50 (plus applicable fees) and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 31, only through ticketmaster.com. Tickets will not be sold at the Covelli Centre box office.

Parking passes for lots in the downtown area will also be sold only at ticketmaster.com.

The concert will start at 7 p.m.
