Covelli Restaurants Offer Free Meals for Veterans Day
WARREN, Ohio – Covelli Enterprises will offer free meals for active-duty military and veterans at its Panera Bread and O’Charley’s restaurants on Veterans Day.
At Panera, complimentary You-Pick-Two meals will be available 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 12. At O’Charley’s, veterans are eligible for a $9.99 entrée or $10 toward any entrée of choice.
“Although it’s important to us to honor our veterans and military every day, this is a uniquely special opportunity for us and for each of our communities to say thank you,” said Sam Covelli, owner of Covelli Enterprises, in a release. “This is our chance to give something small back to those who have given so much and sacrificed so greatly for us and for our freedom.”
Since Covelli Enterprises started the campaign in 2011, the company has given more than 125,000 meals to active-duty servicemen and veterans.
To participate, veterans and servicemen can wear their uniforms or show valid military ID or discharge papers. Participating locations include all Panera Bread restaurants in the Mahoning Valley and Hermitage, Pa., and O’Charley’s in Niles, Boardman, Cuyahoga Falls, Strongsville and Erie, Pa.
