Covelli Restaurants to Offer Free Items on Veterans Day

WARREN, Ohio – In honor of Veterans Day, Covelli Enterprises will solute those in uniform with free items at Mahoning Valley Panera Bread and O’Charley’s locations.

On Nov. 11, the Valley’s seven Panera locations will offer a free bagel and regular hot or iced coffee until 11 a.m., while O’Charley’s will offer a free dessert with the purchase of an entrée, including sandwiches, burgers, salads, main menu dinner and lunch menu items, all day.

To participate, service members and veterans need to wear their uniform or show a valid military ID or discharge papers at participating locations, according to a news release.

“We are grateful to all veterans and service members for the freedoms they have afforded us,” said Sam Covelli, owner/operator of Covelli Enterprises. “Without our veterans, we would not have a country to live in, let alone a business to run. This is a small thank you for a very big reason.”

Covelli Enterprises also supports organizations such as Military Order of the Purple Heard, Diabled American Veterans, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum and the U.S. Marine Corps Foundation Toys for Tots with monetary and product donations throughout the year.

Covelli support for veterans has exceeded $2 million in food and monetary donations since 2011, the release states.
