Creating an Environment for a Younger Workforce
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Chuck George is the inaugural recipient of The Business Journal’s Brain Gain Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award, created to recognize individuals who have leveraged local resources to kick-start fresh ideas into promising businesses.
George gives his thoughts on how the area needs to change in order to retain younger people.
“Trying to get more young people to stay obviously is our goal, but the more that we get to stay, the more that will stay,” he says. “You create the environment; you create the group of people that are young like them and they’re doing the same thing or similar things.”
