CTW Plans Additional Development South of Plaza
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — CTW Development Corp. plans to further develop land south of the retail plaza in Boardman it purchased Thursday.
The acquisition is part of CTW’s efforts to position itself with more real estate in the Boardman-Canfield area, says Chuck Whitman, CTW president.
“We believe in the area. We believe that growth is coming back to the Valley,” he remarks.
CTW will develop another building on an outparcel south of the plaza, about three-fourths of an acre, Whitman says. In addition, he expects to announce plans for two or three other projects he is working on in Boardman.
The purchase price for the property, at the southeastern corner of U.S. Route 224 and Tiffany Boulevard, is $1.5 million. Mahoning County records show the purchaser of record for the plaza, built in 1958, as 1301 Tiffany Plaza LLC in Boardman. The building was bpught from Schufam Company Ltd.
Among the tenants are Dunkin’ Donuts, Papa John’s and Subway, says Jim Grantz, broker associate with Edward J. Lewis Inc., which handled the transaction.
