Dave Collins on a Changing Job Market
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – While Dave Collins, president of Diamond Steel Construction Co., sees the benefits of technology advancing industries all over the world, he also notes that it has taken jobs away from “the guy that used to work in the mill.”
“The mechanization and the computerization has eliminated a whole layer full of jobs that used to support families,” Collins says.
