Dearing Compressor Looks to Recruit Young Talent
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — In order to attract new talent, Dearing Compressor and Pump recently began bringing in juniors and seniors from vocational schools to expose them to “real world manufacturing,” in hopes they will come to work during their summer breaks or after they graduate.
“Not all of those students are interested in going into the manufacturing world,” says Danielle Lanterman, human resources supervisor for Dearing Compressor and Pump. “We need to bring them into our facility, give them tours, make them aware of what kind of positions that we have here at Dearing.”
