DeBartolo Corporation Appoints Vidmar CFO

The DeBartolo Corporation has named Pamela Vidmar its chief financial officer. Vidmar assumed the position Sept. 30 following the retirement of Tim Kaple, who served as CFO and a member of the board of directors of since 2001. He will stay involved with the organization as a consultant. “Tim has been a fixture within the DeBartolo Corporation for more than two decades and we want to celebrate the crucial role he has played in our many accomplishments during that time,” says John York, president of the DeBartolo Corporation. “We welcome Pamela to the organization and appreciate her proven success in creating solid financial frameworks for companies in countless different industries.” Vidmar most recently was the CFO for a privately owned family business in Pittsburgh. In addition to being a certified public accountant and a chartered global management accountant, Vidmar holds an MBA. She and her husband, Mark, have four children. “Pamela is a welcome addition to the DeBartolo Corporation family and we are incredibly pleased to augment our leadership team with a CFO as experienced and accredited as she is,” says Denise DeBartolo York, chairman and CEO. “Tim has been a trusted friend and executive for us for a long time and while we wish him all the best in retirement, we are glad to keep him with us as a consultant.”
