Delgado Named to Pa. Latino Affairs Commission
Maria Delgado recently was sworn in as a member of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs and will represent Lawrence County, Pa. The commission consists of volunteer members. Its mission is to advise the governor on policies and legislation that impact Latino communities. “I am both humbled and blessed to be chosen by God to help the families in Lawrence County,” says Delgado. She is employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, volunteers her time as an officer of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Labor Council of Latin American Advancement, and is enrolled in the Lawrence County Regional Economic Development Leadership Class.
