Dellick Named Advocate of Year by Ohio Behavioral Health Authorities

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities, which represents Ohio’s alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health boards, recently presented annual awards to leaders from throughout Ohio who have been working to ensure that mental health and addiction services and supports are available for all Ohioans.

The 2023 Advocate of the Year Award was presented to John Dellick.

Said Duane Piccirilli, executive director of the Mahoning County Mental Health & Recovery Board, “I am proud to recognize John for his leadership and advocacy efforts related to promoting mental health, especially among youth and young adults. John has taken his personal experiences and used them to engage in and advance educational opportunities related to peer support services. He has led the way in efforts to foster and support youth empowerment in Mahoning County and throughout Ohio.”
