DeSalvo Construction Brings Top Tier Talent Back to Valley

HUBBARD, Ohio – David Van Dusen, a seasoned professional and native of New Castle, Pa., who has successfully managed commercial and industrial construction projects for more than 40 years, has joined DeSalvo Construction Co. as project manager.

Van Dusen earned a B.S. in construction management from Syracuse University. The Howland resident spent 20 years with Van Dusen Construction, and then 22 years with Turner Construction Co. He has managed jobs from concept to closeout and has an extensive background in quality control, quality assurance monitoring and compliance.

Notable projects Van Dusen managed include Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, Presque Isle Downs in Erie, Pa., Blue Origin Launch Facility in Cape Canaveral, Fla., Honda paint shop in Marysville, Ohio, as well as several K-12 school buildings, hospitals and hotels.

Van Dusen is returning to the Mahoning Valley after his past work largely kept him on the road. The team at DeSalvo Construction says he will be a great mentor for the entire company and, most notably, the project superintendents.
