DeSalvo Construction Nears Milestone on Student Center

WARREN, Ohio — Construction of the $36 million Student Wellness and Recreation Center at Warren G. Harding High School is progressing on schedule, according to project superintendent Rob Wilt of DeSalvo Construction.

TEMA Roofing has completed 85% of the roofing work, and locker rooms were finished by the targeted mid-August deadline. The next phase involves installing a PVC membrane roof and enclosing the building’s façade by mid-December.

Becdel Controls is concurrently installing the electrical systems, including security, IT, and fire alarms. The 136,000-square-foot facility will feature a variety of amenities, including walking and running tracks, and recently added golf simulators.

The project continues to garner community interest, including a donation of a large U.S. flag that now flies at the construction site.
