DeSalvo Construction Receives Joan Kovach Safety Leadership Award
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Mahoning Valley Safety Council presented the 15th annual Joan Kovach Safety Leadership Award, which recognizes a Valley business that has transformed its workplace from high-risk cultures to safety-driven environments.
Accepting this year’s award was Sandra Algoe, office manager for DeSalvo Construction.
“This is extremely exciting to get this award,” Algoe says. “We really work hard with safety, and the owner drives that home. It’s safety first, always, to make sure that everybody gets home to their families.”
