Company Offers Website Design Contest for Nonprofits
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Distinct Industries, a graphic design company based here, will celebrate eight years in business by holding a web design contest open to all nonprofit organizations in the Mahoning Valley.
The winning organization will receive a new website (approximate value of $2,500) from Distinct Industries. If the organization does not have an existing website, the digital marketing and design agency will provide one year of hosting and domain registration at no additional cost.
“This contest is a great way to give back in a small way to the community,” said Ryan Kallok, founder, in a prepared statement. “I enjoy working with nonprofits throughout the Valley and understand that there are many fantastic organizations working on slim budgets, often pushing their websites to the corner.
“A well-designed website can be extremely beneficial in helping to obtain sponsors, recruit volunteers, and spread the mission of the organization throughout the community,” he continued.
Nonprofits must submit a short essay about their organization and explain how a new website could benefit their mission. To obtain an entry form or for more information, go to the contest website. Deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. June 10. The winner will be announced June 17.
