Donation to Support Potential Development’s Food Pantry

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Jody Cercone, director of operations at Thrift & Thrive at the Farm, recently presented a check to Potential Development to support the school’s food pantry.

Thrift & Thrive at the Farm, 3279 E. Western Reserve Road, sells new and used donated goods. The store has a seven-person steering committee that decides monthly which local organization to support with a portion of its proceeds.

“We are grateful to Jody Cercone and the board of Thrift & Thrive at the Farm for choosing Potential Development as their charity of choice for November and December,” said Paul Garchar, CEO of Potential Development. “Their contribution will support our ongoing food pantry, which helps families, especially during this time of the year.”

Thrift & Thrive accepts donations from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday and is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
