Dr. Amy Acton on Leadership and Lessons Learned

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Dr. Amy Acton shares thoughts on her lecture, which focuses on leadership and lessons learned in her role as the director of the Ohio Department of Health during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I witnessed most Ohioans trying to row and trying to pull one another up and through, and that’s a lesson that’ll stay with me for a lifetime,” Acton says. “I saw the hate. I saw the polarization. But I saw a lot more love.”
