Truck World to Celebrate Drivers Aug. 10-12

HUBBARD, Ohio – Truck World will host its annual Driver Appreciation Days Aug 10 through 12 at its headquarters, 6985 Truck World Blvd. in Hubbard.

Among the daily events are a complimentary lunch and fuel center giveaways for CDL drivers from 1 to 4 p.m., vendor giveaways, driver contests and displays from Mac and Western Star. Erin’s Pub will also have nightly drink specials.

Live music will be featured all three days from 5 to 9 p.m. Shades of Gray will perform the first day of the festival and Northern Whiskey will play Aug 11.

The final day – and main event – of Driver Appreciation Days will be the Boogaloo Cajun Fest, featuring Cajun cuisine and Dwayne Dopsie & The Zydeco Hellraisers. The Cajun festival begins at 4:30 p.m.

Truck World is the state’s largest independently-owned truck stop, featuring more than 500 parking spaces, state certified scales, a Travelodge hotel, restaurants, hair dressers, showers and stores.
