Early Learning Center at JCC of Youngstown Receives Grants

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Early Learning Center at the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown recently received two grants for enrichment activities.

The Penner Family Endowment of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation granted $32,000, and $6,529 was funded by the M. Fisher Memorial Fund.

The funds will be used to engage Early Learning Center students in programs that enhance their motor and emotional skills, increase their emotional learning and teach lifesaving water safety skills. 

Students will swim in the JCC’s pool, make artwork in the Paul and Yetta Gluck School of Visual Arts, play in the JCC’s gym and more.
